Crap

I have a heart condition that cause my resting pulse rate to be a "normal" 120. This app jumps around between 50-70. Simply not possible. Not the least bit accurate

Accurate for me! (iPhone 4)

I just tried this for a minute but found it to be very accurate by holding one finger over the camera like it says and taking my real pulse at my neck with my other hand. The top green dot lit up every time I felt a beat and when it got off slightly, it would quickly fix itself to be right back on. It worked for me!

Nice

Seems to work as stated. Im sharing it with everyone. Considering the price :)

I love this app!

With my anxiety It calms me down to see my heartrate isnt actually through the roof! Great app

RN

This app is so accurate! The downward waveform is each heartbeat. The height/width represents the strength of the contraction. I personally have a normal "sinus arrhythmia" which is an athletic heart. I was checking my pulse as I watched the wave. VERY accurate! Worth every free penny! Thank-you!

Awesome

What cant you do with the iPhone. Really cool!

Not with a case

Im sure Im not the only one with a case on my iPhone. This app was all over the place with its reading. Good thing I only checked it out for fun. (as it states in its description)

Well done

It is accurate even with the case on. How about adding sound? Then it would excellent. Analytics would also be nice.

Zero Usability

The apps usability is zero.

Works nice

Just add a history and it will be 5 stars

Say whaaa????

Dude, this jumps all over the place. From 66 to 91 to 72, etc. I want my pulse, not spit out random lotto numbers.

Awesome app, very accurate

This app does exactly as described. I found that the numbers dont bounce around as long as you but your finger correctly at the light and dont move it around. My pulse has never bounced around more than +-3! Highly recommend

Really?!?

I am a nurse and just wanted to get this app. to see if it worked. Typically my resting pulse is 78. It jumped around so much from 60 to 90 I wanted one resting pulse rate not fifty of them. I felt my radial pulse and it was not even close. I wouldnt waist my time on it again and it was free!! You really want to know your pulse check it yourself!!

Its jumps a lot.

When I was calmed my pulse was like 90 but when I was excersizing it like went to 60 but I dont like this.

Really?

For those who like it its great! But those who claim to be medical professionals and say its a waist of time, your credibility is measured by your spelling.

Works great, except

I have found this app to work amazingly well, except when my body temp is low. Or when my peripheral BP is low. I suspect theres not an easy way to fix this. And it works so well most of the time, I wouldnt bother.

Works great!

This app works great as a heart rate monitor. I am an anesthesiologist and have access to pulse oximeters at work. I compared the results from this simple heart rate monitor to the pulse oximeter at work and it was almost dead on. Although this one tends to drift a little bit up-and-down by one or two beats compared to a real deal pulse oximeter. So not as accurate but I was very impressed by the fact that the results from this free app were as precise as they were. So a nice app to quickly take a look at your heart rate.

Pretty accurate

Using IPhone 4 was off 2 pulse

Works Great

Compared it side by side with my Garmin chest strap and it was always within a beat or two. Never had any jumps by more than 2 or 3. I think some reviewers might need to follow directions better, or it just works better on the 4s.

Pretty good as a reference

Like it. Its fast, mostly accurate and does the job for free haha. Add history and it will get five stars easy!!
